The peer-review Journal Regards is a pluridisciplinary journal published by the Institute of Scenic, Audiovisual and Cinematic Studies (IESAV) of the Saint-Joseph University of Beirut (USJ).
The journal deals mainly with cinema, theater, visual and performing arts in the MENA region and Mediterranean countries. It is published twice a year and is trilingual (French, Arabic and English). The Journal consists of a call for papers section, a varia section and a reviews section dealing with recent cultural and artistic practices of the region.
Regards covers all disciplines related to cinema, theater, visual and performing arts. The articles can be in French, Arabic or English: the abstracts are published in three languages.
