The call for papers of Regards is published each year in March and September, one year before the publication of the issue, on the following sites (among others):
- Fabula
- Calenda
- Cfplist
The authors wishing to submit an article to Regards (for the “Cfp” section, the “Varia” section or the “Reviews” section) should send an abstract (approx. 500 words), a mini-bio (approx. 100 words) and keywords (6-8 keywords) to the following e-mail address: Regards@usj.edu.lb
Evaluation methods
The Regards call for contributions is published 18 months before the issue is finalized (in March and October each year).
Articles are sent to the following address:
regards@usj.edu.lb
The abstracts are selected by the editorial committee and the guest editors.
Authors are notified one month after the abstract’s submission.
After the submission of the articles, the Regards editorial committee launches the double-blind evaluation process: The articles are anonymized and sent to two readers of the journal's reading committee (external evaluators may also be requested, depending on the research areas covered by the submitted article).
The evaluations are given to the editorial committee which decides on the admissibility of the article. As part of the call for papers section, this decision is taken in agreement with the guest editors of the section.
The authors of rejected articles are notified two months after receipt of the article: the anonymous evaluations of the reading committee are communicated to them.
The article is returned to the author for revisions suggested or required by the reviewers. As soon as the article is finalized, the proofreading phase begins.
The articles are then sent to the publications and communications department for layout, then to the Saint-Joseph University of Beirut’s publishing house for online publication.
The referencing model favored by Regards journal is the AFNOR style:
