Regards is the first internationally peer-reviewed film and theater journal published in the Arab world. The journal is also the first to focus on artistic practices from the Middle East and North Africa regions. Founded in 1999, it publishes two issues per year since 2018.

Regards aims to provide a comprehensive platform for critical exploration and analysis in the fields of film, theater, performing arts and visual arts. The objective is to foster a deeper understanding of these dynamic fields by publishing high-quality, peer-reviewed research that addresses both theoretical and practical aspects.
