The Education of Young Christians according to Saint John Chrysostom

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to present Saint John Chrysostom's engagement with the pagan education system dispensed under the aegis of the term Paideia, in the fourth century, and its repercussion on the Christian Antiochian education. The author tries to elucidate this Church Father's position on the matter by analyzing two of his lesser-known works.
