Abstract
On August 4, 2020, the Beirut blasts devastated the port and part of the capital. The losses are colossal. Faced with a disaster of such magnitude, initiatives were quick to come to the aid of the victims and a project to restore / re-build the heritage of the Lebanese capital was set up. In our article, we focus on the non-Lebanese artistic initiatives on both national and international levels to help and support the Lebanese community, in order to highlight the role of Art in education as a therapeutic medium. By following the dynamic of resilience going from “leaping” to an act of “resistance”, then from an “integrating shock” into “creation / action”, our purpose is to offer university education through post-traumatic works of art to engage the student in the restoration / reconstruction project of the capital.
