Abstract

Rather than being a succession of events and protests, the Arab Spring is a historical process and an open experience. The theoretical issues and practical realities provoked by the Arab Spring belong to the national-state political literature and remind of confusions between majority rule and democracy spirit. This article tries to explain the ambiguous notion of ‘constituent power’ and its possible strains through Arab Spring revolutionary process.
