Résumé
Cone Beam Computed Tomography or CBCT has multiple advantages in comparison with conventional means of radiography and CT scan, such as precision, low radiation and rapidity of aquisition. For temporo-mandibular joints (TMJ) exploration, it is nowadays the best technique used to detect various anomalies of the bony structures, whether of traumatic, degenerative, congenital, arthritic or tumoral origin, with great precision and without superimposition of neighboring anatomical structures. Three clinical cases are reported to illustrate the advantages and superiority of the Cone Beam in the diagnosis of TMJ disorders.
