Abstract
The objective of this article is to highlight the importance of physical appearance in Lebanon and its consequences in the field of human resources management, especially in the recruitment for customer relationship positions in the Lebanese banking sector. We will present the evolution of beauty throughout time and its importance in the Lebanese society; while underlining the constant increase in the rate of aesthetic surgery despite the various crises that Lebanon went through in recent years. Then we will analyze its effects on the selection of candidates in the banking sector.
