Abstract
To provide quality Teaching & Learning to meet the expectations of an everchanging society, many higher education institutions choose to develop pedagogical innovations. The goal of this paper is to define innovation in higher education from an organizational theory perspective. Based on empirical data collected in the course of our research, it highlights the institutional challenges arising from an academic revolution in the face of digital disruption. It also raises the issue of mobilizing university members in the innovation process in order to achieve pedagogical transformations. Being part of a relational perspective, innovation is based on a process of exchange between actors, and this process results from reciprocity (Alter 2010).
