Abstract

Social entrepreneurship is an innovative solution for sustainable, local and territorial development. In Morocco this is an opportunity to social and societal issues. So it is very important to understand this concept insofar as it contains two controversial terms namely entrepreneurship associated with the resolution of social problems. This peculiarity of social entrepreneurship leads us to focus on the complexity of its business models. The study of social enterprise business model will allow us to answer many questions as: is it necessary to put in place a business model in a social business? The implementation of the latter makes it
changing social enterprise? How, in the Moroccan context, does social enterprise formalize and perpetuate its business model by following its social purpose? We then addressed our work by the analysis of the Moroccan landscape in terms of social entrepreneurship. This is the reason why we have carried out the case
studies of four social enterprises in Morocco; the results of our study revealed the particularity of each business model studied. Nevertheless a certain similarity was revealed knowing the proximity and the commitment of the involved actors, the strong will to change social conditions for a better future.
