Abstract
Some turkish television series have staged the evolution of a female character in crisis requiring therapy. We will focus on a serie in particular that have conquered women’s hearts as it have broken taboos related to women: Fatmagulun suçu ne? released on tv screens in 2010. It was inspired from the novel of Vedat Turkali. It’s the story of a collective rape, its consequences and the desperate struggle of the heroin to overcome the trauma. How does space reveal the crisis of women? What role play the different places, environments and spaces crossed in the therapeutic evolution of the female character and in its rehabilitation? How are they represented? How they affect the viewer?
