Abstract
The political and territorial upheavals to which Syria has been subjected since 2011 have, in recent years, been a favorite theme for many writers, including Hala Kodmani who proposes in her work La Syrie promise a new narrative model to report on the situation in this territory when the Syrian people rose up against the Assad regime. Reflection on these upheavals leads us, in our analysis, to apprehend "territory" and "History" as important data conditioning the acts, affects and positions of the main character, Hala. A fundamental concept of a philosophical and political nature will be placed at the service of our analysis: "deterritorialization". This article will therefore propose to reread the current geopolitical situation in Syria, in the sieve of various concepts being able to decipher the complexities of our current time.
