Abstract
Nowadays we notice that the Lebanese contemporary cinema emanates from an unstable geopolitical zone and unveils Lebanese filmmakers’ inventiveness. This cinema of discomfort and melancholy reflects the condition of the Lebanese people exhaustion after many years of consecutive and deadly wars. To what extent is this cinema becoming the innovative pulse of this society in turmoil? Are these post Lebanese war movies linked to the 2019 October revolution? Is it finally enough to liberate women in the cinema to liberate the society, then the whole country?
