Abstract

This article deals with the Lebanese arak industry. It describes the entire production and marketing phases of Lebanese arak, a rather unique drink that is difficult to classify in the world of spirits. Its resemblance to high quality beverages, such as Cognac or Armagnac, gives a solid justification for this product to be further promoted and given its noble status.
